2015 Estate Single Vineyard Chardonnay
The 2015 Chardonnay. We didn’t produce anything in 2014 due to poor fruit set in the spring of 2013. So this one is pretty special. The 2015 is complex, multi layered with flinty and “match stick” wrapped in vanilla and butterscotch aromas created by the barrel ferment, with it’s 35% new toasty French oak. The rich fruit gives a voluptuous lingering mouth feel of citrus and peaches. The wine is very approachable now, but will benefit from a couple more years of cellaring.
