This is a fresh and floral wine, a perfect Summer Wine

Fume blanc style – this means partially barrel aged, since the word fume is French for smoked, hence the inside staves of a barrel have been smoked to buffer the harshness of the raw wood.  This wine spent 3 months in barrel.  And we gave it a touch of Semillon (10%) to enhance the palate length and complexity.
